Mike Eagen played Division II football (1999-2000) and baseball (1999-2003) for Saint Joseph’s College (Rennselear, IN).  Mike was a two year letter winner in both sports.  As a junior, Mike was All-Conference in baseball and Academic All-Conference as a senior.    
After graduating from Saint Joseph’s College in 2003 with a Criminal Justice Degree, he began working for the Marion County Probation Department and continues to work as a supervisor of casework officers.  Mike also obtained a Masters in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati. 
   
In 2004, Mike founded the Midwest Prospect Baseball League with the hopes of making it one of the most competitive wood bat collegiate baseball leagues in the Midwest.  Since its inception, the MPBL consistently has any where from 8 to 16 teams each summer and with the help of league coaches, the MPBL is one the largest and most competitive collegiate wood bat leagues in the United States. 

In addition to his responsibilities as league owner, Mike coaches in the MPBL as well.

Midwest Prospects (2004-2007)

2007: 8-8 (East Division), 14-10 (Overall), and advanced to the MBPL Championship Series, but were eventually eliminated from the Series. 

Midwest Tomahawks (2008-2009)

2008: 14-3 (South Division), 14-5 (Overall), and finished second in the League Championship Series. 

2009: 10-8 (overall) and finished second once again in the League Championship Series.  Mike coached with assistant Derek Gillam.
